DonkeyCross supports local youth cycling. Since 2012, close to $20,000 has been raised for local youth cycling groups, of that over $18,000 was donated to DEVO (Developmental Escape Velocity Organization) part of Escape Velocity.

A lot of care and thought is put into the Kids’ Races which includes free coaching and a special little kids’ course. Before the race, there’s behind the scenes work reaching out to local parents and community groups.  In 2017, almost half the kids were from the local area and didn’t have parents who cycle, which is pretty awesome.
